“What is Veterans Day Anyway?” is an engaging program for students in grades 3-12 that explores the significance of Veterans Day and honors the dedication of our military service members. Featured are the different branches of the military—Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard— and discovering their unique roles and contributions to national security. The program will also cover the history and importance of Veterans Day, emphasizing why we celebrate this day each year. Students will develop a deeper appreciation for the sacrifices made by these brave individuals and feel inspired to express their gratitude while recognizing and honoring those who have served our country!
